The Source of My Faith"...God is a Spirit..."
...God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him...
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
John 1:1, 2, 3, 4 & 5
That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
John 1:9, 10, 11, 12, 13 & 14
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
John 3:16 & 17
...if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
"...I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
"...ye have been with me from the beginning."
"...I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you."
"Abide in me, and I in you...
...for without me ye can do nothing."
John 15:4 & 5
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do..."
"...Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not,...if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive."
Matthew 21:21 & 22
"And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you."
"...Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
...for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."
Matthew 6:31, 32 & 33
"...Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven."
"...For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother."
"...he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him."
"And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you."
John 14:16 & 17
"...the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you."
"And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
"But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth."
John 4:23 & 24
"Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."
Matthew 7:13 & 14
"This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."
John 15:12 & 13
"These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full."
"These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."
"I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you."
Thy word have I hid in mine heart...
Unto thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul.
O my God, I trust in thee:
Psalm 25:1 & 2
Show me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.
Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.
Remember, O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old.
Psalm 25:4, 5 & 6
The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will show them his covenant.
Mine eyes are ever toward the LORD; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net.
Psalm 25:14 & 15
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
